Job Description Summary

We are actively recruiting for a Supply Chain Finance Leader to join our Power Distribution & Controls (PD&C) Supply Chain Finance team. This role will be pivotal in supporting the PD&C supply chain which spans 5 sites globally and generates $0.8B in revenue.

The role focuses on leading the supply chain finance activities at the Cheltenham site in the UK. As a critical partner to the site Supply Chain Executive Leader, you will drive optimal performance (cost, fulfilment, quality & cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution.

You will utilise your experience to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services, using understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

You will also ensure consistency in reporting, forecasting, and planning cycles for supply chain-related areas, including shop cost, inventory, and fixed assets.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership:Collaborate with operations to ensure the Cheltenham site meets its supply chain-related targets, including on-time delivery, shop cost and productivity, inventory, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
  • Financial Stewardship:Lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Cheltenham site's supply chain-related targets, including OTD, cost, inventory, payables, and P&E.
  • Asset Management:Play a key role in the fixed assets planning, forecasting, and reporting for the Cheltenham site.
  • Performance Optimisation:Analyse performance trends and propose actions to optimise supply chain execution.
  • Process Standardisation:Utilise GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating model to standardise processes, operational rhythms, and work scope across sites, ensuring alignment with lean principles and practices.
  • Best Practice Sharing:Spearhead efforts to drive financial excellence and share best practices across global sites, ensuring consistency and optimisation in supply chain finance operations
  • Compliance:Work closely with Controllership to ensure proper controls and processes are in place for supply chain-related activities.



Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Significant experience in Finance within a highly regulated manufacturing operations business (i.e. aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals)

  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within a services or operations context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated process improvement capability in a transactional environment.
