Senior Project Manager

Are you a Fire and Security Engineer tired of constant countrywide travel? We have the ideal opportunity for you. This full-time role is based at a single static site in Selly Oak, so you can forget about long drives, hotel stays, and constantly changing locations. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and small works of fire and security systems across the site, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently. Enjoy the stability of working in one place every day while still taking on a role that is varied, rewarding, and part of a supportive on-site team.

What you receive for joining us:

 We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £26,000 to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to do your job well. You’ll get a company vehicle, along with all the essentials - uniform, PPE, a company phone, fuel card and any tools required to do the role. On top of that, you’ll enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, we also offer a Time and attendance bonus of up to £300 a quarter.

 Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

 Carry out on-site installations, servicing, and maintenance of a range of fire and security systems to a high standard

Complete all services thoroughly and within agreed timeframes, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and client expectations
Travel daily to a static site to deliver fire and security support across 150+ buildings within a large, high-profile client location
Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure workloads are managed efficiently and priorities are met 

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

 Basic experience in the maintenance of fire and security systems, including servicing, repairs, and timely maintenance, required

Must be based within 30 minutes of Selly Oak, Birmingham, as the site is static—perfect for someone who wants to be home in the evenings; early starts (6 am - 3 pm) are required
Experience with Notifier Fire systems is an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
A can-do attitude and eagerness to learn, with a strong desire to develop in the fire and security industry
