As the Sr. Director, US Commercial Lead, Lupus, you will co-lead and execute the commercial strategy and deliverables for this exciting pipeline program with alliance partners. This individual will report into the US organization with a dotted line to the Global PDC Lead and will work collaboratively with their alliance counterpart. They will be a critical member and Commercial Lead on the PDC Team.

You will be accountable for co-leading pre-launch strategy across the commercialization functions (marketing, V&A, medical, insights, forecasting, advocacy) and how it can best support the program’s potential in the US. You will be a key strategic contributor to an integrated cross-functional team to develop and execute the asset strategy, along with strategic priorities and assessing new business opportunities to enable sustainable market growth for the program in the US.

What You’ll Do

Lead/Co-lead the commercialization functions to develop and execute on the brand strategy

Serve as the US Commercial Lead for the asset

Deliver a commercialization plan that proactively shapes the market, ensures scientific exchange and relationship building, plans and executes evidence, enables engagement with the patient community and advocacy groups, and impacts public policy

Achieve a world-class launch by defining a launch plan that ensures organizational readiness and right-level resource allocation

Coordinate with PDC Lead to ensure maximization of the US value of the asset

Collaborate with alliance partner and affiliate colleagues to support the vision and strategy to effectively ensure launch and patient access to this important therapy

Accountable for comprehensive assessment of competition and identification of opportunities to guide/refine the global strategy amidst rapidly changing market dynamics

Partner with Finance and Forecasting to develop forecasts and assess business opportunities

Who You Are:
You are a high-impact, hands-on leader who enjoys and has experience integrating cross-functional considerations into leading commercial strategic initiatives, team decisions, and work products. You appreciate learning from team members and other company partners and hearing multiple perspectives to inform recommendations and decisions. You have US commercial expertise and bring this point-of-view to help drive key workstreams and communications.

Qualifications
Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree Required; Advanced Degree

12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (currently 15)

Commercial US launch experience

Experience in rheumatology indications (lupus)

Demonstrated success and experience in collaborations (especially in a 50/50 collab)

Strong analytical and leadership skills, including creative, strategic mindset

Outstanding relationship building and communication skills, including ability to navigate throughout a matrixed organization (and partnered companies) with individuals at all levels

Anticipated travel: up to 15% international

Skills:

Global Commercial experience

Experience as a member of a Global cross-functional PDC/Asset team
