Site Manager – Newport, Wales (Data Centre Fit Out)
£60,000-£70,000 + Package (car allowance, bonus, pension etc.)

Project: Fit out of administrative building within a data centre campus
Position Type: Permanent, full-time
Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor to oversee the fit out of an administrative building on a data centre project in Newport. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or similar high-spec projects.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all on-site activities for the fit-out package, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to maintain efficient site operations.

Implement and enforce site health & safety standards at all times.

Review drawings and specifications, proactively resolving any technical or coordination issues.

Monitor programme schedules, progress, and quality, reporting to senior management as required.

Liaise with project stakeholders including design teams, consultants, and supply chain partners.

Maintain comprehensive site records in line with company and statutory requirements.

Requirements

Degree or trade qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar discipline.

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager on data centre, pharma, industrial, or large-scale fit-out projects.

Strong understanding of fit-out methodologies and coordination of complex services.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to drive high standards and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Package

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience).

Car allowance.

Pension scheme, bonus and other company benefits.
