Service Engineer (Heavy Machinery)

£32,000 - £38,000 + Progression to Management + Flexible Hours + Door-to-Door Pay + Site Rate 1.2x + OT up to 2x + Company Van

Are you a field service engineer, with experience with heavy machinery and hydraulics, looking to take on a new opportunity for extensive training in installing and refurbishing centrifuges for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and water treatment industries, where you will benefit from the company's generous site rate (1.2x) and overtime (up to 2x)?

Do you want to progress into management, working alongside a small team of engineers where you will take on leadership status in the workshop, eventually becoming the Lead Engineer?

On offer is the opportunity to join a small but growing company which has ambitious expansion plans for the short and long term. You will use your skills to take on specialized training by shadowing the Lead Engineer and taking on a range of responsibilities, where your dedication will be rewarded with excellent progression in the years to come.

You will be responsible for workshop stripping and refurbishing as well as on-site installation and servicing of centrifuge machinery, while also contributing to manufacturing processes and working closely with the Lead Engineer, taking on additional responsibilities while being trained extensively via shadowing.

The Role:

Work alongside the Lead Engineer to receive hands-on training on specialized centrifuge equipment
Provide on-site service to clients across the UK, where you will support installation and servicing of machinery and ensure client satisfaction
Contribute to the manufacturing and refurbishments processes in the workshop, including stripping machines and writing refurbishment reports
Progression to senior leadership, where your commitment will be rewarded throughout the company's upcoming expansion
The Person:

Experience with installation and servicing of heavy machinery, hydraulics, or similar
Happy with travel to on-site installation and servicing
Valid driving license
