Your new role
Step into a senior-level contract position where you'll help shape how patient experiences are captured and understood in clinical research. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and rollout of tools and methods to assess how treatments impact individuals' daily lives.
  • Work closely with study teams and global partners to integrate meaningful patient feedback into research plans.
  • Support the setup and delivery of clinical studies, focusing on how patient data is collected and validated.
  • Guide the selection and use of digital platforms for capturing patient-reported information.
  • Offer expert advice on improving how patients and sites engage with study assessments.


This role requires some time on site (potentially up to 2 days per week though this is flexible for the right person) and all candidates must already hold the right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available for this position.


What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with a strong scientific background and hands-on experience in clinical research. To be successful, you should have:

  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field such as public health, psychology, epidemiology, data science or similar (PhD preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience applying patient-focused research methods in a clinical or consultancy setting for a pharmaceutical, biotech, consultancy or CRO.
  • A solid understanding of how to design and implement tools that reflect patient perspectives in trials.
  • Interest or experience in neuroscience, rare disease or related therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with digital data collection systems and processes like translation validation and usability testing.
