About the Role:

A leading independent healthcare advertising agency, renowned for its award-winning campaigns and strategic excellence, is seeking a Senior Vice President, Account Director to spearhead its expansion into the UK and European markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the agency's presence in Europe, leveraging its strong US foundation and commitment to innovative, patient-centric marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the UK and European client services division, establishing and nurturing relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across various channels, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Work across a wide variety of therapy areas, bringing depth and agility to client strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, medical, and digital departments, to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding the agency's client portfolio in the region.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing account management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and guidance on market trends, brand positioning, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Proven experience in a senior client services role within a healthcare advertising agency, with a strong understanding of the UK and European pharmaceutical markets.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and delivering measurable results.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in pharmaceutical marketing across Europe.
  • Comfortable working across multiple therapy areas, adapting approach and tone to meet the specific challenges and needs of each.
