Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an experienced Senior Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales team within a fast-growing software company. The successful candidate will be involved in the configuration of software demo systems in a wide variety of industries and organisations ranging from small businesses to global pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Gather requirements, configure and demonstrate, at a detailed level, the Autoscribe software based on customer/prospect requirements
  • On-site and off-site demonstrations including software design, customer workshops, presentations, data modelling, technical architecture, technical delivery, report writing, demo training
  • Acting as product expert on demonstrations and ensuring the demo created is a match to prospects requirement/industry, making certain these are executed in accordance with internal operating procedures and implementation methodologies
  • Understanding and documenting prospects’ functional requirements
  • Configuration of the Autoscribe developed software. This includes the use of reporting tools to design the customer specific reports. Extension to other products as needed e.g. LIMSLink
  • Validate that the demo systems created work as intended including testing demo systems workflow from start to finish before releasing
  • Assist with the management of demo systems
  • Maintaining demo documentation
  • Attendance at technical seminars and user meetings as required
  • Visit to distributor companies for the purposes of demo training and assistance with technical seminars

The successful candidate will receive training on our software and configurations tools, as well as 3rd party software packages. A competitive salary will be offered dependant on experience, including benefits such as private healthcare.

Experience And Skills

  • Good understanding of Relational Databases
  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • SQL Server
  • Laboratory experience would be beneficial
  • Crystal Reporting (Training will be given if necessary)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer facing skills
  • Fast learner
  • Full driving license (some travel may be required)
