As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work as partof a Product Engineering team. At Best Buy Health, we strive todeliver end-end customer and patient outcomes vs. narrow features.They take care to evaluate where they can further the long-termtechnical vision whilst having a bias towards action andcustomer/product value. This role is remote eligible, which meansyou would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy Healthlocation. What you’ll do - You will work in one of our softwareengineering teams, building out our platform and product for use bypatients and healthcare professionals. - You will build scalable,well-tested applications and microservices. - You will collaborateclosely with other disciplines, including biomedical engineering,data science, electronics engineering and product science. - Youwill operate across the stack but will have significant back-end ordata engineering experience. - You will contribute to technicaldesign and code reviews - You will help provide 24/7 support forthe product, resolving live issues when needed - You will beresponsible for a product engineering team delivering keyobjectives that enable the product to scale, directly improvinghealthcare provision across the world. - You will work closely withProduct Management and ensure the team is accountable for theoutcomes delivered. You will have a firm grasp on why the team isbuilding functionality, for whom and the value it will deliver. Youwill also contribute to that product vision and strategy and likelyhave strong natural motivation to do so. - You will be aware of theimpact of your team's work on other areas of the org, includinglonger term architectural viability of solutions, as well asopportunities for wider cooperation.
