My client, a fast-growing global health company are looking for a Senior Scientific Director to join their growing strategy team. To be successful, you will possess extensive knowledge of the inner workings of pharmaceutical companies, acquired through professional experience in that field. You will be an expert in medicine and science, capable of transforming this expertise into innovative strategies while maintaining high standards in all outputs from the medical team. Experience within Oncology, specifically breast cancer and other tumour types is essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Guide clients and the global team by sharing valuable insights and clinical knowledge in your area of expertise
  • Collaborate with senior team members to shape strategies for new and intricate business proposals
  • Offer constructive feedback to senior clients to aid in strategic decision-making, serving as a trusted advisor and medical business partner
  • Spot opportunities for AI initiatives and lead internal programs focused on AI implementation within the medical team
  • Propel business development efforts in line with the growth strategy by identifying new clients and enhancing relationships with existing ones through your expertise and networking
  • Work alongside team members to analyse data, generate insights, and craft client presentations that tell clear, evidence-based stories


Requirements:


  • Extensive background in the pharmaceutical sector and medical communications or strategic consulting is crucial
  • A demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationships and expand business opportunities is required
  • A deep knowledge of healthcare, science, medicine, and the pharmaceutical field is vital
  • High academic qualification
  • You should be friendly, articulate, and skilled at building relationships, with a talent for creating and presenting compelling presentations
  • Expertise in Oncology, particularly breast cancer, is essential
  • Willingness to create your own materials, including strategic slide decks
