We are seeking a sales-driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our flagship London office in our Life Sciences team. As a Senior Consultant, your primary focus will be to develop and nurture relationships within pharmaceutical companies.
You will actively seek out and meet with Recruitment teams, Directors, line managers, and other key stakeholders. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be recruiting the best and most experienced candidates for interim roles within this busy sector. The desk available in this market has derived its success from repeat and multi-sector business, billing over £220k in the last two financial years, with genuine potential to grow more.
Your new team
This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant to join one of Hays' most stable businesses with a strong client base and job flow. Any consultant position in this specialism is core to the success of the wider business and is therefore often winning awards and celebrating success. Our Business Support team at our London Central office in Cheapside is a public sector-facing recruitment team that has enjoyed significant success.
This team contributes the third-highest gross fees within our London office and has a long-standing team of experienced consultants to surround you with success. They have won multiple awards and have a high productivity per head.
Your new role
The responsibilities of a Senior Recruitment Consultant include:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with central government organisations and key decision makers.
Actively seeking and engaging with in-house recruitment professionals, directors, and line managers.
Sourcing, screening and recruiting top-tier candidates for interim roles.
Drafting reports, ensuring compliance across all activities, and participating in internal projects.
Contribute to the development and growth of the business, especially your Business Support team.
Due to the fees already in the area and the potential we have here, to be successful you will need to meet the following criteria:
You will have experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant or above as well as a proven track record in business development and recruitment. You will be a highly driven, ambitious, and inspiring individual who can drive success in those around you and navigate the highs and lows of recruitment with resilience.
