About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Scientistto join our R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of cutting-edge chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies. You will be a driving force in advancing our technology, supporting our R&D efforts, and ensuring our products continue to meet the evolving needs of customers in the lab instruments market.

As a Senior Scientist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead R&D projects, and foster strategic partnerships to push the boundaries of innovation in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support R&D projects focused on chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies, from concept through to commercialization. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, etc.) and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes. Conduct detailed experiments, data analysis, and product evaluations to optimize performance and innovation. Align product development efforts with customer needs and market demands, ensuring a competitive edge in the laboratory technology market. Contribute to the development of new technologies and methodologies to drive product improvements and advancements. Provide expert advice and support to the R&D team and stakeholders on scientific challenges and technical direction. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic R&D decisions. Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications

PhD or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in chemistry instruments, laboratory technologies, and product development. Strong background in leading and managing R&D projects in a scientific environment. Solid understanding of customer-driven product development, including aligning technology with market needs. Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and experimental design skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Experience in intellectual property development and protection is a plus.
