Carrot Recruitment are supporting our client, a leading global clinical research organisation, on the sourcing of an experience Senior Project Manager. Your contributions will play a key role in driving impactful solutions and improving outcomes for clients and patients. They encourage innovation and collaboration, challenging their team to bring forward ideas that make a real difference.


Everything you need to know about the role


Leading the oversight and execution of Expanded Access Programs and Post-Approval Named Patient Programs as well as other clinical research initiatives, this role will focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes in compliance with industry standards and organisational SOPs.


You will :

  • Manage the set-up, implementation, and close-out of regional and global clinical programs
  • Lead project teams, ensuring clarity of scope, timeline adherence, and financial performance
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Participate in client proposal meetings and support contract development
  • Provide operational leadership and line management for assigned team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (FDA, EMA, MHRA, ICH-GCP)
  • Audit eTMF and CTMS systems for data accuracy and timely documentation


Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a Health or Life Sciences field)
  • Extensive project management or clinical research experience, preferably in a CRO or sponsor setting as well as experience managing or monitoring clinical trials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
