Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria

BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent (2 Years)
Registered or due to registered as a pharmacy technician with the GPhC
Desirable criteria

BTec Level 4 in Accuracy Checking Dispensed Medicines (1 year) or equivalent recognised qualification
Knowledge
Essential criteria

Understand and perform a range of work procedures and practices which require underpinning theoretical knowledge including: - Dispensary processes - Controlled Drugs legislation - Medicines storage and security
Training and Experience
Essential criteria

Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria

Working in hospital pharmacy
In Patient Dispensing top-up
Controlled Drug dispensing
Employer certification / accreditation badges
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
