Our role


As a Senior Medical Writer, you will work collaboratively with internal teams to add significant value - applying the benefit of your experience to guide projects, ensuring any copy produced by you and your team is appropriate to the brief and of a high quality. You will work with Client Services to front client relationships as appropriate, ensuring the Copy function is always represented appropriately.


What you can expect to be doing:

  • You will work on client brand activity and be the ‘go-to’ writer across a number of clients and therapy areas
  • Generate original content to be used within a range of media and for a range of audiences, in line with the relevant code of practice and brand communication objectives
  • You will produce and edit copy into the correct format for use across various media as appropriate, drawing on your experience to consider the suitability of UX and project flow
  • You will work closely with the Client Services team to devise solutions that fulfil and exceed client expectations, and make innovative suggestions
  • You will mentor juniors and take overall responsibility for their involvement, actively progressing their personal development
  • You will continually expand your excellent knowledge of industry regulations (e.g. the ABPI Code of Practice) and the medical approval processes (Zinc and Veeva)


This role could be a great fit for you if:

  • You have 5+ years experience as a medical writer in an agency setting across creative medical writing
  • Therapeutic experience in a variety of areas
  • Promotional/commercial writing experience
  • ABPI expertise
  • Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies and creative briefs


This is for experienced writers and unfortunately due to the team needs we cannot accept recent graduates with no agency experience for this role. However please keep an eye out for all Junior medical writer roles and grad program roles.
