As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) , you will serve as a key scientific expert and field-based ambassador, building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) , healthcare professionals (HCPs) , and academic institutions across the UK. You will play a pivotal role in scientific exchange , clinical insight gathering , and supporting medical strategy for oncology products in development and on the market.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with KOLs and HCPs to provide unbiased, scientific information on oncology products and pipeline assets
Support clinical development and real-world evidence initiatives through site engagement and feasibility discussions
Deliver scientific presentations and participate in advisory boards , congresses, and investigator meetings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Commercial
Provide field insights to inform medical strategy and evidence generation plans
Ensure compliance with ABPI Code of Practice and internal SOPs
Candidate Profile
PhD in Life Sciences, Oncology, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of MSL experience in oncology
Deep understanding of oncology therapeutic landscape , clinical trials, and treatment pathways
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively across the UK (up to 70%)
Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
Experience in solid tumors or hematologic malignancies
Prior experience in a biotech or start-up environment
Familiarity with HTA processes and NHS structure
