Pharma Client based in Dublin looking to hire a Senior Medical Information Writer/ Manager Or Medical Information Specialist.


6 month initial contract with high likelihood of extension.


Day rate = Approx €400+ per day if based in Ireland or c£300-350+pd if working remotely from UK. Flexibility dependent on level of expertise / relevant experience.

There are 2 vacancies - 1 for a Senior MI Specialist / Manager & another for an MI specialist with fluent German. Both roles will be engaged with high level, complex Global MI requests that are escalated to this Global MI team to handle.


This role involves providing expertise in specific therapeutic areas/brands to support complex medical inquiries and activities. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality responses to escalated medical inquiries, reviewing materials for quality, developing content for digital platforms, optimizing processes and standards, managing booth inquiries at medical congresses, and reporting on metrics and insights.



Major Accountabilities:

- Provide timely and quality responses to escalated medical inquiries (highest level of escalation - global scope)

- Write or review MI deliverables to meet quality requirements

- Provide input to optimize MI Service processes and standards for efficiency and productivity.

- Generate reports on enquiry metrics and insights for stakeholders.

- Support management of Congress Medical Information services.

- Assist Regional or Country MI teams.

- Develop content for digital platforms.


Qualifications:

- Minimum healthcare professional degree or degree in a healthcare-related field.

- Preferred advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life science/healthcare.

- Fluent English, preferred second major European language.


Experience/Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in Medical Information/Communications in the Pharmaceutical Industry or related Medical Affairs role.

- Knowledge of therapeutic areas.

- Strong understanding of good practices in medical enquiry management and writing for medical information.

  • Expertise in dealing with escalated medical enquires / inquiries (to the highest escalated level ideally)

- Experience reviewing medical/clinical content and providing feedback.

- Extensive knowledge of information resources and their effective use.

- Solid understanding of medical concepts and their implications in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

- Strong client focus and collaboration skills.

- Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
