Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: Up to £100,000 plus full package
Location: Central London / City of London

Company Description

I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading UK M&E Building Services Contractor, recognised for delivering high-value, technically complex MEP schemes across critical services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and commercial sectors. With long-term frameworks in place and a robust pipeline through to 2030, they are one of the most exciting building services contractors to be part of in Central London and the City of London today.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead a £40M+ design & build critical services MEP scheme in Central London, working in collaboration with a Tier 1 main contractor and a major blue-chip client. This is a key leadership role with a clear pathway to Contracts or Operations Management, offering long-term growth within one of the most respected names in the M&E building services sector.

What We're Looking For

3+ years in a Senior Mechanical Project Manager role

Proven experience delivering £20M+ MEP packages

Solid understanding of mechanical systems within a wider M&E context

Background with Tier 1 or major building services contractors

Confident managing fast-paced, technically complex schemes in the City of London

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities / Skills & Experience

Lead full project lifecycle for large-scale M&E schemes, from pre-construction to handover

Oversee delivery of complex building services installations, including commissioning

Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and internal design and commercial departments

Maintain control of programme, quality, and safety standards throughout project duration

Interface with client and Tier 1 main contractor, acting as lead Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Ensure compliance with all relevant MEP and building services regulations

Remuneration Package

Basic salary up to £100,000 depending on experience

Full company benefits package (travel, pension, etc.)

Discretionary performance bonus

Long-term progression into senior leadership roles within M&E operations
