Location: Cambridge (Hybrid role with at least 2 days a week in the Cambridge office)

This Senior Marketing Manager role is a rare opportunity to build our client’s marketing function from the ground up with the opportunity to create and manage a high performing marketing team in the future!

This role is perfectly suited to existing life science Marketing Managers with a hands-on approach and track record of introducing new products to market and creating & executing winning marketing campaigns!

The role of Senior Marketing Manager – Life Sciences:

  • Develop the marketing plan to create brand awareness and generate MQLs to drive sales

  • Implement the marketing plan, both hands-on and together with external agencies

  • Define, execute and monitor multichannel marketing campaigns

  • Manage the social media channels of the company

  • Oversee and support the creation of content, including whitepapers, blogs, videos and webinars

  • Data-driven analysis of marketing performance and continuous fine-tuning of the marketing plan

    The requirements of the Senior Marketing Manager – Life Sciences:

  • Circa 5+ years’ experience in life science marketing as a Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager or similar role with a track record of successfully introducing new life science products to market

  • Ideally you will have already worked in a hands-on life science start up environment or have the motivation & skill set to thrive in an exciting high growth company

  • Minimum MSc. in biology, biochemistry, or other life science related field (PhD preferred)

  • Successfully planned, executed, and analyzed marketing campaigns

  • Experience with digital marketing, including SEO

  • Experience managing internal and external teams (i.e. agencies)

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office

  • Expert knowledge of marketing tools such as Hubspot or similar

  • Willing to travel 25% within UK and EU
