Now Hiring: Senior Maintenance Planner – Abingdon

Full-Time | Permanent | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Planner to join a dynamic Maintenance & Facilities Team at a client site in Abingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a cutting-edge pharmaceutical environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of critical facilities.

Location: Abingdon
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 40 hours | Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

You’ll take the lead on planning and optimising both preventive and reactive maintenance activities. You'll be a key figure in our team, ensuring operations are efficient, compliant, and forward-looking.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and continuously improve the annual maintenance programme

*

Plan maintenance activities in line with operational priorities

*

Monitor performance via monthly work management metrics

*

Maintain oversight of critical maintenance backlogs

*

Lead stakeholder engagement to drive efficiency

*

Oversee the CMMS system, ensuring accurate asset data

*

Mentor and lead the Facilities Administrator team

What We’re Looking For

*

Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler

*

Expertise in using CMMS systems

*

Solid understanding of maintenance processes (regulated industry experience a plus)

*

Strong communication, reporting, and time management skills

*

Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements

*

Leadership capability and team collaboration skills
