Senior Engineering Project Manager

Location: North West (Ideally Wirral)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £70,000 (Depending on Experience)

As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager who thrives on responsibility, excels in complex environments, and is ready to lead strategic, multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept to completion.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing multiple complex projects to successful, on-time, and within-budget completion
  • Conducting feasibility studies and engineering assessments to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with senior client stakeholders (Directors and VPs) to ensure alignment and satisfaction
  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and CAPEX forecasts
  • Ensuring all project activities meet regulatory standards and follow best practices
  • Managing the full project lifecycle—from initial brief to handover
  • Providing expert input on design, procurement, and technical decisions
  • Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies


What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects (3+ years minimum)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and project-related IT systems
  • Health & safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) and familiarity with APM/Prince2 methodologies (preferred)
