The role

Technopolis is seeking aSenior Consultantto join our UK team, focusing on Health & Life Sciences. In this role, you will lead and contribute to research and advisory projects that support policy development, strategy design, and impact assessment in the life sciences and health sector. Your work will involve collaborating with clients across the UK and internationally, providing robust evidence to inform decision-making throughout the policy cycle.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage research and evaluation projects in the health and life sciences Develop and apply novel research methodologies and analytical approaches Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions Contribute to business development through proposal writing and client engagement Collaborate with colleagues across Technopolis Group's international offices

Your profile

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in health research, policy analysis, or consultancy
  • Strong understanding of health systems, biomedical research, or health technologies and a knowledge of current developments in the field
  • An ability to propose, sell and lead / manage policy studies and/or evaluations
  • A good command of quantitative and / or qualitative research methods
  • Self-motivation, intellectual curiosity and an ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to write well and to a professional standard, in English
  • Experience working with public sector clients, such as government agencies or research councils
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, health economics, biomedical sciences)

Other desirable attributes:

Knowledge of medical innovation, mental health or planetary health An ability to interpret data, present and synthesise information from a variety of sources A proficient user of analysis packages, such as STATA or NVivo An understanding of theory-based or realist evaluation methods An ability to prioritise and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines Proficiency in an additional European language
