Role Description

 

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Engineer/Biomedical Engineer to join our team at Key Health Solutions. This is a full-time, field service role based in Wales, where you will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and management of medical equipment for a number of hospitals within Powys.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Carry out routine and preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimising downtime for critical healthcare devices.

Provide expert support for a wide range of medical devices.

Work closely with clinical staff to ensure equipment meets the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.

Stay informed about industry standards, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance service delivery.

 

Qualifications

 

A minimum of three years’ experience in biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, or a related field.

Proven expertise in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of medical equipment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills both in English and Welsh to liaise effectively with clinical and technical teams.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintenance.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in medical device management (e.g., MHRA, ISO).

Registered with The RCT.

Ideally located near Builth Wells.
