We are excited to be partnering with a world class innovation and research centre as they embark on an exciting growth journey.


The Senior Buyer for Laboratory Equipment is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement team, that will support the Head of Procurement and wider team in delivering first class procurement activity and develop robust systems and processes across the group.


You will take responsibility across the cradle to grave procurement process, owning the category strategy, supporting supplier onboarding, monitoring procurement systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.


This a great opportunity for someone who has experience within the pharmaceutical or private healthcare sector, with experience in sourcing high value laboratory equipment to lab consumables. You will be the key interface for your stakeholder groups, managing relationships with scientists and professors.


Our client has huge growth plans for the next 3 years, with a new state of the art campus under construction, head count growth from the hundreds to the thousands by 2027.


So, it really is an exciting time to get on board within this innovative and pioneering research organisation.


Our client is based in Oxford and will require you to be on site 3/4 days a week, and you must have the right to work permanently in the UK.
