Salary: £50,000-60,000 per annum


Senior Art Director opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative design agency based in London.


The Company

Instinct are again partnering with our long standing client who are dedicated to the delivery of impactful learning solutions within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.


The Role

Working with a cross-functional team comprised of Medical Writers, Instructional Designers and Graphic Designers. The Senior Art Director will utilise previous L&D experience, to balance creativity with strategy, building engaging learning solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the visual creation of learning materials including E-learning modules and infographics, while articulating design choices during client interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with SMEs and developers to produce cohesive and engaging learning solutions.
  • Create innovative graphics, animations, and UI/UX designs for both digital and print.


The Person

  • Extensive experience in design within L&D, preferably with agency experience.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector or medical communications preferred.
  • Degree in graphic design, visual arts, or other related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint; experience in UI/UX and motion graphics tools is desirable.
  • Authoring tool knowledge such as Articulate Storyline/Rise is also highly beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to simplify complex information into visual content, and commitment to high-quality standards in learning and scientific communication.
  • Experience of mentoring and / or Line Management is advantageous.
