THE ROLE:

As an Senior Account Manager at Grey Health, you will play a pivotal role in managing assigned accounts and collaborating with internal teams (Project Management, Account Service, Creative, Strategy, Production, and Client). You will contribute to the development of brand strategies and manage the creative execution process through delivery. This role requires a passion for client service, a solutions-focused mindset, and a collaborative spirit.

Reporting to the Account Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping memorable brand experiences. As a member of our team, you will join a creative, globally-minded team surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Management:

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the client’s business and competitive environment to build strong relationships and support strategic/tactical planning and execution.
Manage day-to-day interactions with the client team, understand brand strategy, and ensure all projects are aligned.
Identify and understand the client’s brand needs and identify ways to meet them.
Act as the client's voice and review work, alone or in conjunction with the Account Director, before sending it to the client.
Serve as the main point of contact and support for the Account Director.
Keep the Account Director informed of critical project concerns and opportunities.
Represent the agency’s point of view appropriately, handle objections, and/or negotiate with clients.
Understand both agency and client processes and effectively negotiate timing and manage client expectations throughout project progression.
Communicate with clients daily, clearly, succinctly, and in a timely manner.

Business Management:

Continually evaluate client business activity for financial monitoring and budget compliance and provide solutions with the support of Global Project Managers.
Evaluate project activity and flag issues.
Provide clear and timely information to any internal resources involved in projects.

Team Orientation:

Manage the status of projects and keep the Account Director(s) well informed of any potential concerns impacting client relationships.
Set a professional example and work ethic, and work with integrity on all projects and hold oneself accountable for delivering on expectations.
Help facilitate a strong and cohesive global team (Account management and Project Management) that is focused on priorities and knowledgeable about client(s) products and services.
Encourage challenging the status quo to find new and better ways to work; solicit and expect new ideas.
Identify and assist in resolving conflict.
Oversee the process and work in partnership with the Project Management teams.
Maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment, completing daily tasks efficiently.

Project Management:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.
Make decisions to move projects forward and know when to involve the Account Director when clarity or direction is needed, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and that work produced is consistently of the highest quality.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements within the health and wellness sector.
Share knowledge and insights with the team and clients.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Possess ~5 years of demonstrable experience in account management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Has a proven track record in producing integrated campaigns, with a capacity to take on lots of moving parts and simplify/prioritise.
Exhibits strong written, communication, and persuasion skills.
Passionate about getting things done within stringent internal/external timelines and deadlines.
Multitasking ability and able to work under pressure and efficiently in fast-paced, evolving, and growing internal/external environments.
Self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
Shows rigor – attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of MS Office suite, with an aptitude to learn new software programs quickly.

Collaborative Team Player: Enjoys working collaboratively with internal teams, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment, and mentoring junior team members.
