G4S are looking for a Part-time Security Receptionist to work at a bustling pharmaceutical and biotechnology company in Irvine.

We are looking for security personnel who who are passionate about creating a safe and secure environment and demonstrate honesty and integrity all whilst delivering customer service to the highest level. You will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment and have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Your Time at Work

Position: Security Receptionist
Location: Irvine
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Part-time - 20 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Days/ late shifts

Must have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle. SIA license preferred.

As a security officer at this site you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they follow the site's security protocols
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
  • Issuing site access control passes to authorized visitors
  • Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
  • Maintaining accurate visitor logs and ensure all documents are up to date
  • Performing administrative duties, such as ordering new logbooks, stationery, and other office supplies.
  • Coordinating transport arrangements for ERT training days, ensuring all participants have the necessary arrangements
  • Handling incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel
  • Reporting any faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to site security supervisor
  • Controlling access and managing the control system
  • Liaising with a variety of people including contractors, site based and corporate staff, and any regulators that come to the site

    Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
