Our client, a leading provider of products within scientific research, are looking for a Scientific Conference and Marketing Associate to join their growing team. The company contribute towards scientific discovery through the provision of innovative life science technology and products for R&D within the medical, cosmetics, nutrition and other sectors. They have been established for 35 years now and work with scientific manufacturers, universities and biotech companies as examples.

The purpose of this role is to guide scientific expertise into marketing activities and be integral to the creation of scientific content on and offline. The role will also help scientific data support for product classifications. This is nan amazing opportunity for professional development and gaining experience in a cross functional environment with employees across the UK, NL and US.

Job Responsibilities

Scientific Content Creation

  • Own the scientific content creation process for the company’s literature that is used online within websites and offline in marketing brochures
  • Taking ownership of the literature catalogue and linked projects
  • Writing engaging SEO-friendly scientific content for the website
  • Creating blog posts, white papers and other marketing collateral
  • Working with WordPress CMS and Magento e-commerce platforms

Market Intelligence and Conference Attendance

  • Keeping abreast of current scientific trends to aid with strategic marketing plans
  • Attending conferences / events to gather market information, investigating new trends and getting to grips with exciting new research

Product Characterisation and other

  • Responsible for product characterisation for new and existing products
  • Assisting with keyword planning and research for Google Ads and SEO
  • Assisting with digital marketing
  • Data analysis where required

Job Requirements:

  • A PhD in a life science subject is preferable, or a MSc
  • Experience in a commercial marketing role, preferably within the Life Science industry
  • Ability to write scientific topics in an appropriate and engaging way
  • Strong Word and Excel skills
  • A keen work ethic and positive can-do attitude with exceptional attention to detai
