Key Responsibilities:


Research and Analysis

  • Understand and collate information from credible sources such as scientific publications.
  • Distil scientific information and make it accessible and relevant for our customer base.


Content Creation

  • Write clear, concise and compelling content aimed at our customer base of life scientists. Content can include webpages, blogs, flyers, newsletters and social media posts.
  • Ensuring all written content is original, free of plagiarism, and not AI-generated.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of writing and editing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain language, narrative and messaging that is consistent with existing content.
  • Revise content based on feedback.
  • Develop content ideas and outlines based on research and competitor analysis


SEO Optimisation

  • Incorporate relevant keywords into written content in a natural way
  • Determine keyword relevancy based on research using online tools, such as Google Keyword Planner, as well as base biological knowledge
  • Optimise headlines, meta-descriptions and other content for search engine discovery


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Life Science PhD.
  • Extensive scientific writing experience (5+ years)
  • Online profile showing previous scientific writing experience and/or authored scientific publications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience working with different content formats and ability to adapt writing tone to match company voice.
  • Proficiency of SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
