The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. SAP, Ariba) to lead and deliver client programmes, support pre-sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise.
The Role
We are seeking talented individuals with experience of SAP S/4HANA advisory and implementation across various solution process areas. This is a high-profile role within the Supply Chain Capability team, requiring a balance of business development / sales origination to grow the practice and strong client delivery.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
As an Engagement Manager, and/or as a Solution Architect lead the delivery of high-quality SAP S/4HANA advisory and delivery projects
Provide specialist advice in SAP Supply Chain management and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
Lead and contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal, and contract / commercial negotiations with our SAP clients
Lead the growth of SAP Supply Chain Capability through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership and supporting the career aspirations of team members
Have a functional expertise of latest SAP Supply Chain solution and integration to other SAP modules; including SAP Finance
Advise on technical integration of the SAP Supply Chain application with other client and 3rd party tools/applications
Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement
Have experience in SAP S/4 implementation in/across; manufacturing industries, consumer packaging goods, pharmaceuticals, retail or oil & gas etc
The Person
Functional expertise and knowledge of S/4HANA enabled processes and configuration in multiple areas across: SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP PPDS, SAP DMC, SAP ME, SAP PEO, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SAP Enterprise Asset Management/MRO, SAP Order Management & Fulfilment/AATP/Logistics Execution, SAP Product Lifecycle Management and SAP Transport Management.
Proven Engagement Management and/or Solution Architect experience for large scale SAP transformation programs
Deep understanding and knowledge of digital trends in Supply Chain (e.g., Industry 4.0, Digital manufacturing, SCM Digital Solutions that integrate with SAP)
Experience in leading on bids, proposals, and commercial negotiations with clients
Experience leading onshore, offshore, and near-shore resources effectively to ensure the most efficient delivery for the client
Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and motivational skills
Facilitation and problem-solving skills along with excellent communication skills (written and oral) whether this is with client stakeholders or remote development teams
SAP system design, build and deployment experience - minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations preferred
Experience of business analysis, facilitating a design workshop to gather requirements and then translating the requirements into design
Experience producing high quality project deliverables (business requirements, solution design document, functional specs, configuration document, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices etc.)
Supply Chain experience preferred in/across manufacturing industries, consumer packaging goods, pharmaceutical, retail or oil & gas
