SAP Senior Functional Consultant – Supply Chain & Procurement (MM/EWM)Permanent position

As our SAP Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead design, implementation, and system enhancement initiatives within the supply chain (MM/EWM) and procurement modules. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing SAP solutions and ensuring smooth integration with key SAP Module (Quality/Manufacturing) as well as external procurement solutions (COUPA). By bridging these domain technologies, you will enable end-to-end process automation, data integrity, and compliance within our highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Process Leadership and Design:
    • End-to-End SAP Solutions:Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Supply Chain and Procurement processes, ensuring robust system configurations and continuous improvements.
    • Integration:Enable seamless process integration with Manufacturing and Quality as well as Finance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor by gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP and system integration solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with IT, supply chain, operations and quality assurance teams to drive cross-functional process enhancements.
  • System Enhancements and Troubleshooting:
    • Manage SAP system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement projects while ensuring timely issue resolution to minimize operational disruptions.
    • Develop detailed documentation, including functional specifications, integration architecture diagrams, process flow charts, and training materials.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide end-user training on new integrations and system enhancements, ensuring smooth adoption and high levels of operational proficiency.
    • Work in partnership with our AMS Partner to implement and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions, supporting a robust and scalable environment.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards, GxP regulations, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and internal governance frameworks.
    • Monitor system performance and integration functionalities to support audit readiness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    • At least 10+ years of hands-on SAP functional consulting experience with a strong track record in Warehousing (EWM) modules.
    • Proven expertise in integrating SAP with Procurement platforms like COUPA.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient, integrated SAP solutions.
  • Industry Insight:
    • Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
    • Familiarity with GxP protocols, FDA regulatory compliance, ISO standards, and other pertinent quality assurance standards.
  • Educational Background & Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
    • SAP certifications in EWM, or S/4HANA are highly desirable.
  • Language Skills:
    • Required:Proficiency in English.
    • Bonus:Proficiency in French is highly desirable.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment across multiple disciplines.
