Nicholas Howard is recruiting an SAP/ERP Architect for a global medical technology company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP ERP, including supporting new country launches and implementations, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical, or biotechnology industries.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid work pattern – 3 days in the West London office.
The ERP Solution Architect will be a key member of the IT Corporate and Commercial Systems Team, guiding business and IT global ERP teams through system expansion and growth. Responsibilities include understanding business processes, applying a global design template, and collaborating with finance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams across regions. The architect will mentor analysts and provide insights on system enhancements and integrations.
Responsibilities:

Conduct business and systems analysis, gather requirements, and develop process flows.
Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
Design and implement end-to-end system solutions.
Provide data expertise for operational reporting and analytics.
Evaluate third-party tools for feasibility.
Design and implement SAP S/4 HANA integrations with external systems.
Create documentation including use cases and system diagrams.
Develop test plans, coordinate testing, and assist in execution.
Organize product roadmaps for regions.
Skills and Attributes:

Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with business and technical teams.
Mentor and lead analysts through system design and implementation.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple activities.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on system-wide impacts.
Proficiency in reading/debugging ABAP code, SAP APIs, and integration middleware.
Experience:

Relevant SAP experience in a BA, functional, or architect role.
Experience with S/4 HANA is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Financial Reporting, and Master Data Management.
SAP S/4 HANA certifications preferred.
