Location: Based at PB Tyres (UK) LLP, Milton Keynes
We are seeking to recruit a Sales Development Manager to collaborate with our three sister companies within the truck tyre industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales in the competitive truck tyre aftermarket.
Sales Development Manager responsibilities include identifying new sales leads, presenting the company’s products and services and fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients and suppliers.Additionally the role involves proposing innovative sales strategies to advance business development.
There is a high reliance on self-motivation and an ability to learn quickly whilst working within agreed guidelines alongside a developed business acumen.
Applicants should have demonstrated qualities of sales achievement, initiative and the capacity to support company growth objectives in previous roles.
This position is designed for professional growth with the expectation that the ideal candidate will advance swiftly to a senior management role.
We are not looking for a developed Manager.We want a keen adaptive person to contribute towards our ambitious growth plans.You will receive professional training as well as assistance to progress your career.
Responsibilities:
·Develop strategies to generate new business opportunities successfully.
·Establish relationships with new clients, evaluate their needs and formulate proposals to meet those needs.
·Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients.
·Create realistic and attainable sales forecasts aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
·Work effectively to understand the company’s product offerings, competitors and market positioning.
Qualifications:
·Experience within the truck tyre industry is highly advantageous but not a deal breaker for the right person.
·Proven experience in sales or in a similar capacity.
·Ability to demonstrate empathy with staff and customers at all levels.
·Experience in working within budget constraints.
·Excellent communication, organizational and basic IT skills.
Salary: Commensurate with the role's level of responsibility.
For the suitable individual circa £35K + Commission + Car + all business expenses
Benefits: Company car, all business expenses covered, company pension and employee discount.
