The Role


Our Biopharma team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Sales Account Executive to expand institutional sales of our scientific video journal and databases to biopharma companies worldwide. If you are ambitious, , results-driven, and can develop relationships with researchers and progress opportunities, this position could be an excellent opportunity for you.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify opportunities, develop a pipeline, and manage a full sales cycle with assigned biopharma accounts.
  • Meet or exceed new business targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong and professional relationships with biopharma librarians, R&D leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build and execute a persistent outbound sales strategy, including cold calls and emails, to generate interest and accelerate new business generation.
  • Work with the marketing and customer success teams to customize marketing activities & provide support for each account.


Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of direct selling experience to stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers and manage a full sales cycle.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving success.
  • Critical problem-solving skills to handle customer questions and overcome objections.
  • A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges.
  • Experience with Salesforce or relevant sales CRM, MS Office is required.
  • Travel up to 30% is included.
