An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist with On-Call (Band 7 NHS equivalent) to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Clinic. This opportunity is based at our Main Hospital, 20 Devonshire Place, London, where the successful candidate will get to join our expanding multidisciplinary Pharmacy team.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, plus on-call shifts.
Location: The London Clinic Main Hospital 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW.
Salary: Band 7 equivalent salary range on offer based on skills and experience.
The Role
As a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist you will play a pivotal role within the Pharmacy Team. Being responsible for providing a comprehensive and patient centered clinical pharmacy service, across a range of medical and surgical specialties.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive and effective patient centred clinical pharmacy service to designated wards. You will have the opportunity to work in various clinical disciplines including renal, urology, orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, plastics and reconstructive surgery.
Lead on and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience.
Contribute proactively to ensure optimal medicines usage by patients and healthcare professionals.
Contribute to ongoing development and service improvements in nursing areas in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
Participate in the on-call pharmacist roster for the supply of urgent medicines and provision of medicine related information.
Participate in the weekend and bank holiday pharmacy service according to an agreed roster.
Skills & Experience
You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a post graduate clinical pharmacy qualification
Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
You will need to be patient-focused, proactive and dynamic to operate effectively as the first point of contact for Pharmacy services.
The role demands an organised, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You must be able to work independently and have good judgement to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
