Revit Technician
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working Available)
Rate: £35 – £40 per hour (Inside IR35, subject to experience)
Contract Type: Contract, Full-Time
Initial Duration: 3 Months (Highly Likely to Extend)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Revit Technician – Electrical Building Services to join a busy design team delivering projects across the commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical sectors. This role requires an experienced technician who can independently model electrical systems in Revit—please note, this is not a BIM Coordinator role.
Revit Technician Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and coordinated 3D electrical models using Revit
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop designs across multiple project phases
  • Deliver coordinated building services layouts in line with project specifications and deadlines
  • Ensure modelling outputs are compliant with internal standards and industry regulations
  • Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across various sectors
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of drawing and model presentation
    Revit Technician Essential Requirements
  • Strong, proven experience in 3D electrical services modelling using Revit
  • Previous work on projects within the built environment (commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical preferred)
  • Ability to interpret engineering mark-ups and convert them into accurate Revit models
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Willing and able to obtain security clearance
    Revit Technician Desirable
  • Familiarity with working in larger design teams across multiple offices
  • Experience coordinating with other MEP disciplines
