Regulatory Compliance Manager (Electricity)Location: North/Remote BasedOur client, an ambitious and rapidly expanding business in the Renewable Energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Expert to join their team. As the company continues to grow, this role will be critical in supporting the business to gain its Electricity Supplier Licence and ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations.About the RoleAs the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to OFGEM electricity distribution regulations and business separation requirements. Working closely with the Operations team, you will lead regulatory and compliance activities, developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain industry standards.In this position, you will represent the company in regulatory matters, supporting business growth and ensuring compliance with all industry regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be key in preparing and submitting compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.Key Responsibilities:Lead the company’s Electricity Supplier Licence application processEnsure ongoing compliance with OFGEM regulationsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to maintain regulatory standardsAct as the IDNO Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to business separation requirementsProvide guidance on regulatory matters Prepare and submit regulatory reports to management and regulatory bodiesConduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, emerging opportunities, gather insights into compliance requirements, preferences, and pain points.Effectively utilising and inputting data into the selected systems to ensure all relevant information is accurately captured.
