As part of the UK Corporate Affairs team, you will join our talented team of policy and communications professionals, focused on delivering our company’s strategic goals.We do this through impactful engagement – both externally, with our key stakeholders in health and life sciences, and internally, across our thriving employee base.As part of your placement, you will gain experience and insight into a broad range of communication disciplines and projects, as well as learning how a major healthcare company operates. You will be given opportunities to be part of project teams as well as the opportunity to lead and deliver on your own initiatives. The experience will provide a blend of project leadership, tactical implementation, and professional and personal learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring environmental developments in health and life sciences policy.
  • Mapping stakeholder engagement and refreshing our corporate materials.
  • Writing and coordinating our internal digital newsletter for employees, working across all parts of our UK business.
  • Being an active part of project teams focused on delivering campaigns and events in both corporate policy and therapy policy areas, as well as internal events.
  • Assisting with the development of creative and engaging communications materials, including using the AV studio.
  • Developing event briefings and content for our social media accounts and website.

Requirements:

  • You must currently be at university and will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.
  • A keen awareness and interest in the UK healthcare environment.
  • A passion for writing and engaging content creation.
