Job Summary:

Novogene Europe is seeking an experienced and dynamicUK & Ireland Sales Managerto lead and drive sales efforts across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, managing key customer relationships, and motivating a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strong background in genomics, exceptional sales leadership skills, and a track record of selling to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and top-tier customers in the biotech, biopharma, and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed company targets and KPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the UK & Ireland sales team to drive business growth.
  • Identify and engage with new business opportunities in academia, biotech, biopharma, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Manage relationships with KOLs, top-tier customers, and key stakeholders to build long-term partnerships.
  • Travel with the sales team across the UK and Ireland to support client meetings and business development.
  • Represent Novogene at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Europe.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, utilizing CRM tools and data analysis.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum5 years of sales experience, preferably in a management role.
  • Strong genomics background within-depth knowledge of NGS and third-generation sequencing.
  • Proven experience inselling to KOLs and high-profile customersin life sciences, biotech, biopharma, or pharma.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field (MSc or PhD preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis, and sales forecasting.
