Regional Product Specialist
Home-based with travel across South Wales and the Home Counties including East Anglia

Part of a long-established group, GEMÜ Valves is a market-leading supplier of valves and control products to the process, water, bio-pharmaceutical, and semiconductor industries.

Our group employs more than 1,100 people in Germany alone, with over 2,500 employees worldwide. From Germany, we coordinate our global marketing with 26 subsidiaries and, with a large distributor network in over 50 countries, our group is active on all continents.

Our British subsidiary has been based in Warrington since 1981 and comprises Internal and External Sales, Admin, and Marketing teams who work alongside the GEMÜ factories overseas to service the GB market.

We are now looking for a Regional Product Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

  • Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE

    The Role

    As a Regional Product Specialist, you will provide critical product support to our customer base across the various markets we operate in.

    Specifically, you will visit customer premises, providing expert product and application support, while generating enquiries and converting them into sales.

    You will also pursue sales growth with customers, maintaining a customer database and delivering on targets to ensure each region meets its expectations and full potential. 

    Additionally, you will:

  • Manage credit control and customer liaison
  • Support customers with training
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and overseas training as required
  • Record all activities in the company CRM system

    About You

    To be considered as a Regional Product Specialist, you will need:

  • Experience in technical customer service and knowledge of valves and associated applications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT, including CRM and ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook
  • A self-motivated, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
