Regional Medical Science Liaison Oncology / Breast Cancer France Client: Biotech, Oncology (Precision Medicine)

Primary Territory: France, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway
Location: France
Responsibilities Our client is a US-based biopharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines to improve patient lives. We seek a scientifically strong Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with pharmaceutical/biotech experience, especially in oncology and breast cancer.
The MSL operates as part of a global scientific team, providing clinical, scientific, and educational support to healthcare professionals at research sites and key opinion leaders in medical oncology. Developing strong relationships and gathering insights to support strategic objectives is essential. The role involves close collaboration with Clinical Operations for ongoing and future clinical trials.
Key experience includes advanced oncology knowledge, with breast cancer experience preferred.
Accountabilities Educate physicians and support staff about the client’s products and protocols to optimize study performance.
Provide scientific information about study drugs and pipeline compounds to study sites, KOLs, and referral networks.
Respond to medical inquiries using approved resources.
Stay updated on clinical data and published studies.
Support education at Investigator Meetings and Site Initiation Visits.
Build relationships with PIs and study teams, ensuring efficient communication and support.
Act as a scientific resource for study sites and CROs, ensuring alignment and monitoring study performance.
Support clinical trials, including site visits, enrollment, retention, and study closure.
Identify new trial sites for future studies.
Respond to investigator-sponsored research requests.
Enhance the client’s professional image across the territory.
Qualifications Education: Physician, Pharmacist, PhD, MSc or related qualification; fluent in English and local language.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in pharma, with MSL experience, and oncology expertise, especially breast cancer.
Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, scientific knowledge, autonomous work ability, project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge: Understanding of GXP, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and ethical standards.
Travel Requirements Willingness to travel internationally; valid driver’s license required.
