About the role

We are seeking an R&DA Technician forour Portbury, Bristol, location.

 

The snacks alternatives category represents a significant growth opportunity for Kerry.

 

The selected candidate will work in a lab environment and support the Snacks RD&A Team.

Key responsibilities
  • Accurate and methodic seasoning sample preparation
  • Assist in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch
  • Various types of Snack seasoning applications including topical and slurry application
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams within the business to ensure everything is compliant, effective, and meeting the project expectations
  • Raw material stock and availability management
  • Base stock and availability management
  • Manage and coordinate Analytical requests
  • Manage and coordinate Sensory testing
  • Perform functionality tests
  • Project management
  • General lab management
Qualifications and skills
  • 3rd level qualification desired but not essential
  • Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment Desirable but not essential
  • A keen interest in food
  • Competence navigating key R&D systems
  • Project management skills
  • Lab good practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • You will bring a high level of attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills
