Summary

Reporting to the RA Data Strategy and Management Platform Lead, this role is responsible for leading data analytics, visualization and reporting efforts for RA including ownership of all related tools and processes.
The Analytics, Dashboard and Reporting Capability will be instrumental in supporting data driven decision making across RA by translating complex data into actionable insights and reports utilizing various internal and external data sources. Partnering with internal stakeholders, this role is leading best practice for data visualizing and deliver outputs to groups throughout RA. This role is exposed to external conferences and industry forums driving the external data source and dashboard landscape.
About the Role

Major accountabilities:

Lead a team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and business priorities related to Data Analytics, Dashboards and Reporting
Define, prioritize, and deploy an integrated Capability roadmap working in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and DDIT partners, ensuring alignment with the Data Strategy and Management Platform, Development and Enterprise data and technology strategy roadmaps
Represent the Capability in digital governance boards and leadership meetings across the organization
Build and maintain collaborative and productive partnerships within the Capability and the Platform, and with relevant stakeholders to achieve business priorities.
Oversee vendors at the capability level, across product(s), in collaboration with IT and the External Partnerships Teams
Ensure on-time, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio for the assigned capability/product(s), aligned with the NVS Quality Manual
Responsible for configuration, decision making and outcome, impacting the capability, with involvement of relevant Business Process Owner(s), business SMEs and stakeholders
Accountable for all data analysis, dashboard and reporting capabilities and processes for RA to uncover trends, patterns, opportunities and business benefits for RA
Bachelor’s degree, master’s; Advanced degree in life science, pharmaceutical, technology or data science preferred.
Relevant industry experience
Strong understanding and direct relevant experience with the data and technology landscape of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs
Strong strategic problem-solving skills and ability to navigate un-charted territory without clear precedent
Experience presenting/speaking at a senior management level with a proven track record of effectively communicating complex initiatives
Demonstrated leadership in driving risk assessment and mitigation, clear strategic thinking, prioritization, and maintaining awareness of business impact.
Excellent verbal and written communications
Experience with processes, systems & tools used for data analytics and reporting activities
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI)
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modelling techniques
