Are you an early-career Quality Coordinator or a Microbiologist looking to transition into a quality-based role? Then this could be the position for you!

Our client is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join their Microbiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems, managing quality documentation, and supporting accreditation compliance across the site — all while fostering a culture of quality excellence. You will support both internal and external audits and ensure that corrective actions are implemented. Additionally, you will train new laboratory staff in quality procedures and liaise with customers and accreditation bodies on quality matters.

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field

  • Experience in a microbiology role

  • Strong knowledge of ISO17025 and UKAS standards

  • Experience in a quality-based role is desirable

  • A proactive mindset and excellent communication skills

    Previous experience in a quality role is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
