As the business scales rapidly and prepares for international expansion, they are seeking aQuality Managerto join their team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building quality systems and driving operational excellence in a purpose-driven, high-impact environment.


Role Overview

As theQuality Manager,you will take ownership of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance across manufacturing and laboratory operations. You’ll champion a culture of continuous improvement, support regulatory readiness, and collaborate across teams to enhance systems and processes. This is a full-time, on-site role at the company’s Bristol facility.

Location

  • Hybrid; 3-4 days per week at a modern facility inBristol, UK


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SOPs, protocols and quality documentation
  • Provide quality oversight of manufacturing and laboratory operations
  • Review batch records, deviations, change controls and CAPAs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
  • Support investigations into non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Assist with internal, client and regulatory audits
  • Collaborate with operations teams on procurement, maintenance and logistics

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Degree in Science, Food Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience inquality assurancewithin thefood manufacturingindustry
  • Strong knowledge offood safety legislation,GMP, andHACCP Level 3
  • Experience managing quality documentation (SOPs, policies, risk assessments)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal intelligence
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience withFDA/USDAregulations is a plus


Ideal Background

  • Experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or continuous improvement
  • Exposure to launching new food products to market
  • Familiarity with novel foods and lab-based environments
  • Hands-on, action-oriented approach to problem-solving
