STADA UK Natures Aid -Quality Analyst
Preston|United Kingdom (GB)|Full-time|Permanent
Rotating Shifts – earlies 6 am to 2 pm & lates 2 pm to 10 pm
Main Responsibilities:
Quality Control
Sample and test all new raw materials, packing materials, intermediates, and non-routine products to the required standards in a timely manner
Release all materials, finished and development products
Releasing of finished products, by checking paperwork and product integrity
Accurately perform random and scheduled production line checks
Assist with performing validation activities for new and existing products as required
Conducting calibrations of laboratory/ manufacturing equipment
Assist with checking non-conformances & monitoring results in conjunction with the team and Quality Manager
Carry out quality checks and approve label proofs for printing
Quality Assurance
Write and update SOP’s, specifications and methods as required
Support external audits, for example, demonstrating QC tasks
Conducting internal audits in key departments, such as manufacturing areas

What we’re looking for:

If you’re keen to add value and see results, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the can-do spirit that’s spearheading our success, bring those unique qualities, with the following skills and qualifications/experience:
Excellent Computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
GMP knowledge - understand how to work to process (if you have some experience, even better!)
Qualification in a scientific principal and/ or experience in a similar scientific environment
1 year experience in Food or Pharma Industry within Quality
Experience in HPLC - Theoretical understanding of HPLC - any practical experience beneficial
Method validation understanding and/or experience
Level 2 HACCP & experience of Microsoft Business Centeral would be desirable
