Job Description
Position : Quality Administrator
Location:

Broadaxe Business Park, Presteigne
Salary : £25,000.00
Full time, 39 hours per week.
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 17:00pm, Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Teledyne Labtech operates from a manufacturing centre in Presteigne, mid Wales and is dedicated to RF & microwave PCB manufacture,specialising in metal back PCB, mixed dielectric multilayer PCB & Antenna.
Job Purpose:
The Quality Administrator works within the Compliance Team at Teledyne Labtech and is responsible for the production, analysis and distribution of metrics to support continuous improvement activities within the business, as well as the management of documentation necessary to maintain our existing Customer and Quality accreditations. You will report to the Compliance Manager, the position requires working a day shift.
Key responsibilities:
Recording and responding to customers’ queries/concerns.
Customer returns

Reviewing customer requests: allocating RMA number as necessary and collating original manufacturing documentation.
Receipt of the return: Managing the return process and informing stakeholders.
Completion of RMA process: arranging re-despatch and completion of any paperwork required by the customer.

Remakes

Reviewing remakes as part of the weekly Technical Meetings.
Collecting the required background information (costs, manufacturing data, materials)
Loading a remake on the Teams group and allocating review tasks.
Control of the sign-off(s).

Internal Corrective Actions

Logging an ICA and verifying information received from the Originator.
Changing implementation status on our ERP system to Quality Stop (QS).
Reviewing ICAs at weekly Technical Meetings.
Closing ICAs down upon completion; removing QS when all ICAs are completed.

Document Control and administration tasks in support of our ISO9001 & ISO14001 systems to include:

Managing the Document Change Note system.
Formatting of received documents to the latest accepted standard for Procedures and Work Instructions.
Updating existing Procedures and Work Instructions when changes are required.

Reports

Remakes review – weekly.
PoNC – monthly.
Scrap report for Continuous Improvement Meetings – monthly.
Scrap report for Accounts review – quarterly.

Continuous Improvement Meetings

Meeting arrangement.
Data preparation and distribution.
Issuing of minutes.

Completion of Customers Surveys / Joscar survey
Utilisation and operation of the ERP system.
Training & Experience Requirements:
Previous Admin experience
Good attention to detail
Confident with MS Word, Excel and Teams
Adaptability with new systems (XA ERP)
