I'm currently supporting a growing pharmaceutical company in London with the recruitment of a QA Specialist – Supplier Management. This is a key role within the Quality Assurance team, responsible for managing the GxP supplier assurance programme across the business.

The role

You’ll lead the development and implementation of processes to ensure suppliers and service providers meet quality and regulatory requirements. This includes managing the onboarding and qualification of new partners, maintaining oversight of existing suppliers, and supporting audits and investigations where needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the supplier quality programme in line with GxP requirements
• Oversee supplier qualification, including risk assessments, audits and technical agreements
• Maintain the external audit schedule and ensure audits are completed on time
• Monitor supplier performance and manage any quality concerns or complaints
• Ensure supplier documentation is accurate, current and compliant
• Act as the main point of contact for supplier-related matters during audits and inspections
• Support internal teams with guidance and training on supplier quality processes
• Prepare and maintain metrics to monitor supplier performance and quality system effectiveness
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier management processes

About you

• Degree in a science-related subject (BSc or MSc preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a GxP-regulated environment
• At least 5 years working directly in supplier or vendor quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations (Eudralex Vol 4, 21 CFR 210/211)
• Experience writing and managing Quality Technical Agreements
• Confident in conducting audits and working closely with third-party suppliers
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
