Overview:
Our client, a leading innovator in complex project delivery in the Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Security Industries, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to work on a new and exciting long-term project in Lancashire, North West of England.

This lucrative position offers a fantastic career path combined with development in skills & experience from industry recognised leadership teams. The team is a highly motivated, inclusive and diverse group, which is rapidly growing, delivering state of the art strategic and tactical support on highly acclaimed projects & programmes.

Key Skills & Attributes:

Must have a wide range of experience in project engineering in a highly regulated & safety focused organisation. Ideally in Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, Defence/MOD, Manufacturing, Rail, Construction. Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering etc.

Highly skilled in the following areas

Strong background in engineering (Mechanical or HVAC or Electrical & Instrumentation)
Preparation of engineering documents
Able to implement and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans.
Technical review of contractor drawings and documents.
Manage technical queries in accordance with client procedures
CDM awareness
Prepare engineering changes.
Strong compliance expertise in relation to the application of safety, environmental and quality standards. Uphold and promote company policies and procedures together with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications / Accreditations:
Typically, HND/HNC in Engineering (Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical, Instrumentation)
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or IOSH (Preferred)

Personal Competencies:
Confident, professional and driven.
Skilled at cultivating stakeholder relationships at all levels.
Thrives on a challenge
Clearance Requirements: BPSS/CTC Cleared or ability to achieve this.
