About the role

 

We have an exciting opportunity forProduction Team Members to join our Kerry Team in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position with a 3-week rotating shift pattern. You will work 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts (7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am), averaging 39.16 hours per week.

 

For example:

  • Week 1: 3 night shifts
  • Week 2: 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts
  • Week 3: 3 day shifts

 

Where will you work?

 

Kerry Coleraine is the largest processed cheese manufacturer in the UK. We manufacture individually wrapped slices of cheese for the retail trade and cheese slices for catering and fast-food sectors.

 

What will you do?

 

Your responsibilities as aProduction Team Member will include:

 

  • Working on the production line and organising production materials.
  • Following Health and Safety procedures.
  • Assisting with the production setup changes.
  • Collecting and recording production data.
  • Reporting on any issues in production area.
  • Ensuring product quality through visual inspections.

 

What do you need to be successful?

 

  • Experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse environment would be an advantage, but a ‘can-do’ attitude is more important is a as full training will be given.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP) and ability to log in and interpret production data.
  • Being able to work in a team and on your own.
  • Ability to follow instructions and Health and Safety regulations.
